Biography

American soul singer. Born in Virginia on October 21, 1942. Died on 6 March 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Perhaps best remembered for her chart hit It Should Have Been Me off her lone Motown album from 1975, she is also famous for having toured with the James Brown revue in the early 1960s. Yvonne Fair was married to Sam Strain, who started out as a member of Little Anthony & The Imperials.
