Dan Schwartz
Biography
Daniel Mark Schwartz (born July 28, 1950) is an American businessman and attorney who served as Nevada State Treasurer from January 2015 to January 2019. A Republican, Schwartz defeated his Democratic opponent, former Nevada State Controller Kim Wallin, in the 2014 Nevada State Treasurer election. He unsuccessfully ran to serve as Governor of Nevada in 2018, to represent Nevada's 3rd congressional district in 2020, and to serve as Lieutenant Governor of Nevada in 2022. In each election, he was defeated in the Republican primary.
