Rafael Palomar

Biography

Rafael J. Palomar Acosta (born 19 July 1951) is a Mexican-American former basketball player. He was a longtime member of the Mexico national team, competing in the 1976 Summer Olympics and winning a bronze medal at the 1983 Pan American Games. Palomar was inducted into the National Hispanic Hall of Fame in 1999, the Juárez Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008, the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012, and the Chihuahua Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014.
