Biography
Alexander George Henry Gilbert (born 28 December 2001) is a professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder. Gilbert is a graduate of the West Bromwich Albion Academy and began his professional career with Brentford in 2020. After failing to break into the first team, he transferred to Middlesbrough in 2023. Gilbert was capped by the Republic of Ireland at youth level.
