Born: February 9, 1939, Brooklyn, New York, USA.
One half of an illustrious songwriting duo with wife, the lyricist Cynthia Weil, writing You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'. They were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987 and received an award from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
