Biography
American percussionist, born in 1950 in Detroit, Michigan (USA) where, still in her teens, she performed uncredited on many Motown records. Lived in Europe for a couple of years, then moved to Los Angeles where she became an in demand session musician. She has worked with Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Carole King, Joni Mitchell and James Taylor (opens in a new tab) to name a few. She has also released one solo album, viz. Body Language For Lovers (1977).
Bobbye Hall became while she was married to Joe Porter.
