Biography

Brendan Gallagher (born May 6, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is a right winger for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the fifth round, 147th overall, by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2010 NHL entry draft, and played fourteen seasons with that franchise from 2013 to 2026. During his four-year major junior career, Gallagher received Western Hockey League (WHL) West First All-Star Team honors twice (2010–11 and 2011–12) and became the Vancouver Giants' all-time leading goal- and point-scorer. Internationally, he won a bronze medal with Canada at the 2012 World Junior Championships, alongside a gold medal at the 2016 World Championship.
