Florian Schneider was a German electronic musician and vocalist, born 7 April, 1947 in Düsseldorf, Germany. He was a founding member of Kraftwerk in 1970 with Ralf Hütter. He was previously part of the experimental Pissoff (1967–1968) and the electronic/Krautrock band Organisation (1968–1970). He left Kraftwerk in November 2008.
Florian Schneider died from a long battle with cancer just 2 weeks after his 73rd birthday on 21 April, 2020.
