British record producer, filmmaker and manager of The Who, born May 11, 1935, in Knightsbridge, South West London, England, UK; died April 7, 1981, in London, England, UK. Son of composer Constant Lambert. Also known as "Baron Lambert."
Formed management partnership New Action Ltd. with Chris Stamp and signed The High Numbers (later The Who) on July 24, 1964. Founded independent record label Track Records with Stamp in 1966.
