Mark Gardner, a fine writer about Jazz for many years, is based in England and has authored numerous essays, articles and liner notes on a variety of Jazz-related subjects. Like his mentor, the late Alun Morgan [1928-2018], Gardner’s sleeve notes are always packed with useful information and discerning comment.
