Italian composer, saxophonist, arranger and conductor, born at Rovigno d'Istria, (Rovinj, Croatia today) July 28, 1920; † Milano May 4, 2004. Father of Roberto Soffici. His career he has written many hit songs like "Stessa Spiaggia, Stesso Mare", "Perdono", "Cento Giorni" and has scored songs for italian artists such as Caterina Caselli, Iva Zanicchi, Orietta Berti, Massimo Ranieri. He also collaborated with many Italian authors (Albertelli, Pallavicini, Mogol).
