Well-known Slovenian composer and accordionist, born November 26, 1929 in Begunje (Kingdom of Yugoslavia), died July 2, 2015 in Begunje, Slovenia.
Together with his brother (in a songwriting partnership V.S. Avsenik) he formed the Ansambel Bratov Avsenik, an ensemble that would achieve some measure of success as Slavko Avsenik Und Seine Original Oberkrainer.
