American songwriter best known for "This Love of Mine".
Born 1919. Died 2010.
Parker was a shirt salesman while also being a songwriter.
Other popular songs written by Parker include "To Ev'ry Girl - to Ev'ry Boy" (co-written by Jerry Samuels) and "Illusion" (co-written by Lillian Moss & Barry Iver). "This Love of Mine" was co-written by Hank Sanicola. Frank Sinatra was given co-writing credit for royalties but did not write the song.
