Steve Albini was a US alternative rock producer, engineer and musician. Best known for his work with Pixies, PJ Harvey, The Jesus Lizard and Nirvana. He was a member of the controversial groups Rapeman and Big Black in the 80s. Was a key member of rock trio Shellac. Owner of Electrical Audio studios in Chicago, Il.
Born July 22, 1962. Passed away from a heart attack May 7, 2024.
