American Art Director, then Executive Vice-President of Creative Services at Elektra from 1958 (although he first started work for the label in 1953).
After Jac Holzman sold Elektra to Warner Communications in 1972, Harvey was fired by the new company boss, David Geffen. He then set up a new design company; Harvey House.
