Hungarian pianist, conductor, and composer, born 30th May 1952, Budapest, Hungary - died 6th November 2016, Budapest, Hungary. In 1983, together with Ivan Fischer he founded the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Since 1998 he had served as the music director of the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra.
