About

A British piano-rock band with a melodic sensibility similar to Coldplay's, Keane deliver their heartfelt sentiments through the smooth delivery of leader Tom Chaplin. This 10-year anniversary celebration includes highlights from each of the band’s four studio albums and adds two bonus tracks—“Higher Than the Sun” and “Won’t Be Broken”—written during the <i>Strangeland</i> era. The deluxe edition adds 17 b-sides and the previously unreleased track “Russian Farmer’s Song.” With more than 10 million albums sold, the band has clearly earned the right to look back and offer something to both newcomers and hardcore fans. Considering that 2004’s <i>Hopes and Fears</i> and 2006’s <i>Under the Iron Sea</i> were Keane's two most popular albums, it’s only fitting that five songs here are taken from the former and seven from the latter. “My Shadow” comes from the 2010 <i>Night Train</i> EP.
