Muddy Waters by Redman

Muddy Waters is a Hip-Hop album by Redman, originally released in 1996. On Gatefold: 28 pressings tracked, owned by 16 collectors.

About

Erick Sermon and Redman rejoin forces for the Newark, NJ-based rapper’s third album of punch lines, similes, and rah-rah rhymes. Redman flips hardcore hip-hop funk with roguish energy on “Pick It Up” and “Case Closed” and slips into easy repartee with frequent rhyme partner Method Man on “Whateva Man.” Muddy Waters is a “funkorama” of boom-bap entertainment, complete with goofy skits—like an interview with a “Soopaman Luva” bragging about his bedroom prowess—as well as sharpshooting cameos from Def Squad crew's Keith Murray and Jamal on “Da Ill Out.”
