Biography
Clint Warwick (born June 25, 1940, Aston, Birmingham, England – died May 15, 2004, Birmingham, England) was an English bassist playing with The Moody Blues between 1964 and 1966. Feeling stressed by touring, Warwick left the band and his music career in 1966 to become a carpenter and spend time with his family. In 2002, Warwick released his first solo CD, and was working on another one at the time of his death.
Clint Warwick, nee Albert Eccles, the founding bassist of The Moody Blues, died of a liver ailment on May 15 at age 63.
Warwick was a member of the group along Denny Laine, Mike Pinder, Ray Thomas and Graeme Edge and recorded on their first hit "Go Now."
He left the Moody Blues in 1966 after just two years due to the strains of touring.
He was replaced by John Lodge. Denny Laine departed the same year and was replaced by Justin Haywood.
