Biography

American singer & musician born on 2 January 1954, died on 29 July 1978. Brother. Glenn Goins joined Parliament (opens in a new tab)/Funkadelic (opens in a new tab) in 1975 as lead singer, rhythm guitarist and composer. With his soulful, powerful voice, Goins was one of the best vocalist to work with the P.Funk mob. In 1978, he left the Clinton posse with drummer Jerome Brailey (opens in a new tab) to produce the first LP with Quazar, a funk group lead by his brother Kevin Goins (opens in a new tab). He died of a cancer the same year, in July, just before the release of the record.
