Concerts: ticket sales, worth the drive, your live log

Concerts is built from the artists on your shelf and wantlist, so you see shows you'd care about instead of everything on sale. Concert Alerts then push you when tickets open.

How do I set it up?

Open Concerts and set your location first in Kebab (3 dots) > Settings > Location. Without it, the page asks for one. It shows shows within about 100 miles of that place.

What's on the page?

  • Ticket sales. A presale that is open now, or any sale opening this week, one card per artist, soonest first. Each card says when, in your time zone.
  • Worth the drive. Artists you own or want, with a show 100 to 600 miles from your saved place and nothing within 100 miles. The nearest date leads each row. Records you own and records you've played raise an artist's place on the list. It's free.
  • Coming up. Your artists' shows near you, by month. Show later dates loads more.

Coming from an alert? The shows it was about sit at the top under What we pinged you about.

Can I see every show near me?

Yes. View all shows near you switches to every show within 100 miles, whoever the artist is. Back to your artists switches back.

Where are the shows I've been to?

At the bottom of Concerts, Your live log counts the shows you've logged, with how many artists and venues and the year it goes back to. Most seen is the artist you've seen most, Home room the venue you've been to most, and your three latest shows are listed. All N shows opens the full history, where you can search, sort and remove shows.

  • The log comes from setlist.fm. With nothing logged yet, the card lets you connect your setlist.fm account right there.
  • Past shows nearby lists shows your artists played near you. Tap I was there to add one to your log.

How do I find out when tickets go on sale?

Concert Alerts, in Kebab (3 dots) > Settings > Notifications, push you when tickets go on sale for a show near you by an artist you own. It's on by default.

What does MOSH add?

  • Side projects of what you play. Shows near you by bands that share a member with an artist you've played in the last year. It only appears when there's something to show.
  • Presale windows and presale alerts. A show can say "Presale live" or the presale day and time, and you get a push before a presale opens. Free accounts see and get the general on-sale only.
  • A second location. Free accounts get one. With two, a switch on Concerts lets you look at one place at a time, and alerts cover both.
