Stylus and cartridge hours
A stylus wears out by the hour, and nobody remembers the hours. Marquee keeps count every time it hears a record, and shows it on screen.
How do I add my cartridge?
- Kebab (3 dots) > Settings > Equipment.
- Tap + Add a cartridge. Adding a turntable is optional.
- Already broken in? Set Current hours before you save.
- Pick the one that's mounted now in the Mounted cartridge list.
What counts toward the hours?
- The first time Marquee logs an album each local day, the album's running time goes onto the mounted cartridge. Playing it again that evening doesn't count twice.
- No mounted cartridge, no hours. Nothing breaks.
- Nothing counts until you've added a cartridge and mounted it.
Where do I see the hours?
Dock 3-dot menu > Cartridge shows your setups, lets you switch the mounted one, and draws Stylus hours as a meter that goes green, amber, red. Add or edit rigs in Settings › Equipment takes you back out.
How do I fix the count?
On the mounted cartridge in Equipment: Edit hours to type a number, or Replaced it? Reset hours after a new stylus.
