Where a card goes: destinations and captions
Each place wants a different shape of picture, and some of them throw your caption away. The Share page picks the shape for you and tells you what's left for you to paste.
Where can a card go?
Under Where's it going?, choose Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, X · Threads · Bluesky, Messages or Download. Open the Share page.
What shape does each one get?
- Instagram: Feed 4:5 or Story 9:16.
- Facebook and X: Image 4:5 or Link preview.
- Reddit: Image 4:5 only. The card carries no URL, because collector subs read branded cards as ads. The link goes in your first comment.
- Messages: Link preview.
- Download: saves 1080×1350, 1080×1920 or 1200×630.
How do I send it?
- Tap the main button. On a phone it reads Share to Feed, Share to Story, Share to Facebook, Post to Reddit, Post to X, Send link or Save image. On a computer, Instagram says Send to phone and shows a code to scan.
- A line says what happened. Instagram drops share text, so the caption is copied and you paste it in.
- On Reddit, edit the Post title (300 characters). Body and link are copied for the first comment.
- Save image and Copy all are always there.
What link does the card print?
A card prints your public page address only if your profile is public and the part it draws is public: Wantlist for a wantlist card, Shelf for the rest. Otherwise it prints gatefold.fm and nothing of yours. An Artist card links that artist's public page.
