Collection Stats

Collection Stats is the Clerk's read on your shelf, plus the numbers behind it.

Where is it?

Kebab (3 dots) > Stats, or go straight to Collection Stats. Under 50 records the Clerk says he needs at least 50 for a real read.

What's on it?

  • The Clerk's four pieces: The Roast, Today's Read, The Win and Buried Treasure.
  • Shelf Audit: records, year span, top artist, deepest decade, oldest pressing, labels.
  • Unicorns: Only You and Rare Finds, when you have any.
  • The Verdict, signed by the Clerk.
  • Charts: Collection Mosaic, Sound DNA Cloud, By Decade, Decade × Genre Heat and Your Map.
  • Stats for Nerds: highlights, top artists, collection growth, top subgenres, labels, studios and pressing plants, formats and release years.

Can I tap through to the records?

Yes. Tap a label, genre, decade, artist, studio or pressing plant and it opens your Shelf searched for exactly that. Stats and the Shelf sort records into the same buckets, so the counts match. A format opens that format's tab.

How often does the Clerk write a new one?

Once a week. The first time you open Stats in a new week (weeks start Monday, UTC), the Clerk writes a fresh take. He also rewrites it when you change his cussing level. Refresh the Clerk at the bottom asks for a new take any time.

A refresh only rewrites the Clerk's pieces. The numbers and charts keep themselves up to date and cost nothing.

What does a refresh cost?

  • On a free account, a refresh costs 1 quarter of your 15 a month, and the button shows how many you have left.
  • The automatic weekly take costs a quarter too.
  • MOSH: unlimited.
  • MOSH also gets an insured value in Stats for Nerds: Insurance report.
