American songwriter, guitarist and founding member of The Blue Seal Pals. Meteor Records Studio musician/songwriter. Born 3 December 1921 in Tishomingo, Mississippi; died 10 April 2021.
Co-founder of in 1957. On August 11, 1964 Claunch formed Goldwax Records with Rudolph V. "Doc" Russell.
