Add a record that's playing with Listen (Shazam)
Someone puts on a record and you want it on your shelf. Listen does what Shazam does: it hears the track, tells you what it is, then matches it to an album you can add.
How do I use Listen?
Add tab > Listen. Hold your phone near the speakers. It listens with Apple's ShazamKit, and once it recognizes the track it matches it to the album, so you can add it or open its page.
Where does it work?
Only in the iPhone and Android apps. In a browser the Listen tab says "app only" and does nothing.
If nothing matches after about 27 seconds, it tells you. Try again nearer the speaker.
Why don't I see Listen?
A new account's first sessions show Type, Scan and Cover. Listen shows up the next time you open the app, or once you have 20 records.
