Import a library
If your music already lives somewhere else, you don't have to add it one record at a time. You don't need any of these to use Gatefold; they're for a collection that's already listed somewhere. Each one has its own guide.
Where do I import from?
Kebab (3 dots) > Settings > Sources. Each service has a row with one main button: Sync now for Discogs, Apple Music and Tidal, and Import for File imports.
Which one should I use?
- Discogs: your physical collection, wantlist, notes and ratings. Connect Discogs
- Apple Music and Tidal: your streaming library, as digital records on the Shelf. Streaming and services guides
- A file: a spreadsheet or an iTunes library XML. Import a spreadsheet
Syncing runs when you open the app and once a day for Discogs, and any time you tap Sync now. There's no background schedule for Apple Music or Tidal.
What if I use more than one?
Rows already on your shelf are skipped, not added twice. If you use Discogs, connect it first so your file rows match.
