What the Clerk does
The Clerk has read your whole shelf and answers in plain words. It's one character that turns up all over Gatefold. Here's where.
How do I talk to the Clerk?
Tap the Clerk key, or a record's Kebab (3 dots) > Ask the Clerk, and ask. The conversation follows you from page to page. Open it on any page.

What can the Clerk do for me?
The Clerk searches your shelf and wantlist, looks up credits, finds shows and new releases for artists you own, walks a credit chain, shelves records and builds playlists. Your playlists land on the Shelf.

Can the Clerk pick what I play next?
Yes. On the Spin page, Clerk's Choice answers "What's next?" with a record off your shelf.

Can I change how the Clerk talks?
Yes. Pick who's working the counter and how much they swear in Kebab (3 dots) > Settings > The Clerk. The Clerk also remembers what you tell it and writes a take on each album.

What's free and what's MOSH?
Free accounts get 15 quarters a month, shared by everything that talks. One quarter buys 5 chat sessions, 5 album takes or 3 voice sessions, and voice is capped at one quarter a month. The Clerk's memory, personas, cussing dial, Forgot I owned and the Playlists tab are free. On MOSH there are no counts, the Clerk sees your whole shelf in chat instead of a rotating 500 records, and there's one tool free accounts don't get: collection value.
