Artist pages and person pages
Two pages sit behind every name on a sleeve. The artist page is a band's or musician's whole career, set against your shelf. The person page is for the people who made the records sound the way they do: producers, engineers, mastering engineers.
How do I get to an artist page?
Album Page > tap the artist's name at the top (it has a small chevron). Or search the name exactly and tap the artist heading. You land on the artist page: a bio, the career in order, every record they made with your copies marked, and where they come from.
- Studio, live and compilation records, with "N of N owned" on each.
- Bands they played in, as their own sections.
- Essentials and Deep Cuts, record by record.
- Origin, the map, and "Their world".
Deep dives: Your shelf against a discography and Origin, the map and Their world.
What's a person page?
It's the page for a producer, engineer or session player. Album Page > tap their name on the Players card or in the Pressing chain. You get how many of their records you own, what they did on each, and the sound they share. Deep dive: Credits across your shelf.
Which one do I get?
A band or a musician goes to the artist page. Someone with producer, engineer or mastering credits on your shelf goes to the person page. A name with neither sends you to your shelf filtered to their credits.
