Every service Gatefold connects to
Gatefold works with the services you already use. Some fill your shelf, some play it, some log it. Each one is optional, and none of them is needed to use Gatefold. Connect them from Kebab (3 dots) > Settings > Sources or Connections.
What does Discogs do?
Your collection, wantlist, notes and ratings come in, and records you add here can go back. It syncs on its own once a day when you open the app, or when you tap Sync now on the Discogs row. Details: How Gatefold works with Discogs.
What does Apple Music do?
Three modes: Just play my records, Import my library, Two-way. It plays your records (CarPlay and Driving Mode included), imports your library, and sends your wantlist back. Mirroring the whole shelf is MOSH. Set it up on the Apple Music row. Details: Apple Music.
What does Tidal do?
Same idea as Apple: Just play my music, Import my favorites, Two-way. Adding an album, sending a playlist or sending your wantlist to Tidal is free; pushing the whole shelf is MOSH. Set it up on the Tidal row. Details: Tidal.
What does Last.fm do?
Posts the spins you confirm, the records Marquee hears, and optionally the Apple Music tracks you play here. Both switches start off. Free. Connect it under Last.fm in Connections. The how-to lives with the spin guides: Last.fm scrobbling, in Spins, Scrobbling & Listening.
What does setlist.fm do?
Give it your username on the setlist.fm card and tap Import Shows to bring in the concerts you attended. Details: setlist.fm.
Can I import a file?
Yes, from the File imports row: XLSX, XLS, CSV, TSV, TXT, or an iTunes/Music Library XML. That covers a spreadsheet, an iTunes library, or an export from Discogs, Spotify (via Exportify), Qobuz or Plex. A Word document won't work; save it as CSV first. Details: file imports.
Can I paste a link?
Yes. Add tab > Type, and paste a Discogs, Apple Music, Bandcamp, Qobuz or archive.org link, including shows from the etree live-music collection on archive.org. Details: paste a link.
What about Ticketmaster and Plex?
Ticketmaster powers concert and ticket alerts but you don't sign in to it. Plex has no connect screen; only its exports import.
